West Midlands Safari Park

We have four fantastic miles of safari trail with close encounters galore. Have you ever seen a rare White Lion? Probably not as they are virtually extinct in the wild and we have the only pride in the UK. The adventure continues - track down Elephant; Rhino; Tiger; Wild Dog; Lion; Wallaby; Wolf; Buffalo; Zebra; Gnu; Camel and all kinds of Deer. The animal reserve is home to over 600 animals and covers a vast area of 100 acres, which is often abundant with babies.

What’s more, this is a self-drive safari in your own vehicle and you get the chance to feed some of the animals too – special diet animal food is available on arrival for a small charge. And, you can drive through as many times as you wish! Alternatively, if you prefer to be driven, then you are able to book a guided minibus tour for an extra charge – please ask when you arrive – this is always very popular, so early booking is recommended.

The Discovery Trail is a fantastic all-weather animal attraction and is where you can find Mark O'Shea's Reptile World, SeaQuarium, Creepy Crawlies, Twilight Cave and Seal Island which all make for a fun-filled time.

From Birmingham: Take the main Hagley Road to the Quinton Expressway A456 through Hagley and Blakedown following Safari Park signs through Kidderminster to Bewdley. From Wolverhampton: Take the A449 to Kidderminster. Take the A456 to Bewdley. From the North: Take the M6 South, leave on exit 8 and join the M5. Take the M5 to exit 3 and follow the A456 through Kidderminster to Bewdley. From the South: Take the M5 North, leave on exit 6 and follow the A449 to Kidderminster. Take the A456 to Bewdley. From the East: Take the M42 West, leave on M5 North West exit, leave M5 on next exit 4. Follow the Safari Park signs through Hagley, Kidderminster and to Bewdley.
